Pressure monitoring sets, convert blood pressure into electric signals via transducers and these signals are transmitted to a monitor by either using a direct cable from the transducer or a cable from the wireless contact board. Pre-calibrated sensors with constant electrical parameters enables reliable and continuous follow up of patient’s blood pressure. In the wired models, a jack comes out from the transducer body and a cable is then connected directly to the monitor. On the wireless models, the transducers are placed on a contact board and data is transmitted to the monitor by a cable between the monitor and this board. The contact board is reusable and requires a single cable. Both wired and wireless versions of the sets are available with single, double, triple and quadruple transducers.
