Monokaprol is a short-term absorbable, monofilament suture from poly (glycolide-co-caprolactone). This suture is colourless for surface injuries and violet colour for other operations. Monokaprol offers perfect usage properties and high know safety. This suture is recommended for all soft tissue applications and sutures including gastrointestinal surgery, gynaecology/obstetric, urology, plastic and reconstruction surgery, and skin restorations (internal, subdermal).

Monokaprol sutures also have violet colour to make surgical operations easier. Natural colouring agents were used in colouring process. Monokaprol sutures are manufactured with or without stainless steel needle, between USP 6/0 – USP 2 range, and with various lengths between 45cm to 150cm.
