Clenesafe ACTIV
Application Area and Purpose
Clenesafe Activ is used for high-level disinfection of surgical instruments, as well as flexible and rigid endoscopes. It is suitable for the disinfection of medical devices and equipment made of polystyrene, stainless steel, PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, ceramic, ABS, silicone, HDPE, rubber, and glass. It is not recommended for use on instruments made of brass or copper, or on damaged nickel- or chrome-plated devices.
Application Procedure
Clenesafe Activ is added to a basin prefilled with water at the appropriate concentration. The water temperature should be between 20–30°C. Mix for at least 15 minutes. Once the solution becomes clear, place all instruments into the basin ensuring full contact with the solution. Allow them to remain for the required contact time, then rinse the instruments with sterile or distilled water. The prepared solution may be used throughout the day; its activity must be checked with test strips. If the color change does not meet the indicator reference on the strip container, the solution should be renewed.
Composition
Sodium percarbonate, TAED, auxiliary substances, corrosion inhibitor, amylase, protease, lipase.
Microbiological Effect
Bactericidal, Fungicidal, Virucidal, Mycobactericidal, Sporicidal at 2% concentration in 10 minutes. Bactericidal, Fungicidal at 0,5% concentration in 10 minutes.
